Plan your garage & woodshop

Choose your interests and record your space, access and installation needs. “Not sure” is welcome.

1. Your workspace

2. Dimensions and floor conditions

Reading measurements: ft or ′ (') means feet. in or ″ (") means inches.
Example: 8′ 6″ = 8 feet, 6 inches. You can write 8 ft 6 in in fields that accept feet and inches.

How to measure your workspace

Measure usable length and width between obstructions, then the lowest clear ceiling height. Include beams, overhead doors and door tracks. Record equipment working clearance separately from the room dimensions.

Record floor slope, if safely accessible

An example measurement only. This does not verify a slab or floor for a vehicle lift; a qualified installer must confirm suitability.
